| Plaster Restoration |
Lance LaDue Development Company’s renowned restoration services are a culmination of over 25 years of personal devotion to hands on plaster experience and three generations of family background in the building trades.
Your plaster restoration project may suffer from cracks, water damage, de-lamination, or have missing ornamental elements. Perhaps you are adding onto an older structure and want to match the original architectural design.
We will evaluate each area of your project and design a plan that considers the structures function, current and future budget. During the renovation process we will preserve all salvageable plaster using state of the art injection techniques and meticulously remove the heavily damaged areas. Once the salvaging process is complete we will re-plaster the flat surfaces while simultaneously replicating the ornamental elements. Missing elements will be produced from molds made form the existing ornament or be hand-sculpted from archival photographs. These pieces are then cast from either Plaster of Paris, fiberglass reinforced gypsum, or a polymer modified gypsum. Installation is completed using original techniques in order to best match the existing plasterwork with no sacrifice to quality. |
